Cleevelands is a greenfield development forming part of the Bishop’s Cleeve village extension. Our client bought a gateway site designated for retail development. However, we have managed to secure a ‘mixed-use’ scheme, which not only includes 9,000 sq. ft. of retail units units desired by the local authority. But in addition, 8,700 sq. ft. of office accommodation. Our approach to gaining the additional use class, was assessing the needs of the growing village in both the medium and longer term.
