A masterplan was drawn up to enable the NHS Trust to realise the value of their land by building a completely new state of the art orthopaedic facility. Located on the edge of London on greenbelt land, various designs were considered with input from Savills, MAAP, Atelier Ten, Capita Lovejoy, Pell Frischman and Gleeds. The masterplan comprises around 600,000 square foot of new housing, including new nurses accommodation arranged around communal open spaces and amenities.
