In 2013 we obtained planning permission for a multi-purpose sports hall beneath the flyover of the A40 to accommodate netball, badminton and volleyball. Façades with varying translucencies provide appropriate levels of privacy needed from public walkways, while also illuminating the surrounding area at night in order to discourage vandalism. The design was developed alongside Eckersley O’Callaghan, Atelier Ten and ES Global, one of the leading companies in temporary building technologies.
